Do you know the difference between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)? If you attended Jersey Techfair 2014, you may have already met Uberbot. Uberbot is the chat bot that one week after the techfair headed to Bletchley Park, England, where he was judged for 2 hours then awarded 3rd place in the 2014 Loebner Prize Competition! The event was filmed live by Sky News and the guest judge was television presenter and broadcaster James May.
To celebrate this little known Jersey secret we asked Uberbot and his friend Will Rayer to gives us a few workshops on Artificial Intelligence. They agreed on the condition that they are interactive. We don’t know if that means talking to Will, Uberbot or both, but we are delighted to have Will share the knowledge, and can’t wait to ask him about Bletchly Park! Expect to find Will on his Uberbot stand when not running 45 minute workshops in the morning and afternoon of both days.
This is a chance to find out more about how Cortana, Siri and Google Now work and get some great computer history! If your a techie, this is not to be missed!
